Nashville es la capital del estado de Tennesse, en los Estados Unidos, y la sede administrativa del condado de Davidson. Es la segunda ciudad más poblada del estado; por delante se encuentra la ciudad de Memphis. Se encuentra a orillas del río Cumberland, en el condado de Davidson, en la parte centro-norte del estado. Se la suele conocer como "Music City, U.S.A.", (Ciudad de la Música) ya que Nashville posee una importante industria discográfica. Pero desde mucho tiempo atrás se la ha denominado como la "Atenas del Sur", debido a sus instituciones educativas y a su arquitectura neoclásica. Hay varios otros sectores industriales los cuales contribuyen a la economía de la ciudad, incluyendo la salud, la editorial, la bancaria, y el transporte.

Nashville  is the capital of the state of  Tenness and , in the  United States , and the administrative seat of  Davidson County . It is the second most populous city in the state, ahead lies the city of  Memphis .Situated on the banks of the  Cumberland River in Davidson County, in the north central part of the state.It is usually known as " Music City, USA "( City of Music ) as Nashville has an important recording industry. But for a long time as it has been called the " Athens  of the South "because of its educational institutions and its architecture  neoclassical . There are several other industrial sectors which contribute to the city's economy, including health care, publishing, banking and transportation.
